Prior to the official establishment of the Nebraska Sigma Zeta Education Foundation, Inc. in 2006, since 1991 the Nebraska chapters of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority have collectively awarded scholarship dollars totaling $50,000.00 and counting to date. These funds have been awarded to deserving high school graduates and collegiate students in the state of Nebraska.
